What are on-line data collection tools?
These tools are usually made with two types of users in mind:
1. the subjects (students, workshop attendees, faculty) and
2. the evaluator or project manager (administrator role).
When subjects log on to the site they are presented with options such as filling out a survey or viewing their cummulative submissions. Administrators log in to data results view pages and other user-friendly database management tools. Because the results are as instant as the minute all evaluations are submitted, the instructor or project director doesn't have to wait forever for someone to wade through the tallies. Pages are exportable to a variety of formats and are easy to include in reports.Use the pulldown menu above to see screen shots and explanations of some possible page types. Remember that there is a lot of interactivity that cannot be shown here. Also, there are many other function types, only limited by your imagination.
